Penny is a lovely apricot girl from Molly’s 2011 litter sired by the outstanding apricot dog BISS Aust Ch Yangerdook Showmedamoney (Zac), owned and bred by Debbie and Brodie Hobbs of Yangerdook Kennels in Victoria.
Penny is a very active and agile girl, who just loves to run around and her favourite activity is to chase and retrieve sticks. She also loves going to the beach, and anything generally that involves a good romp around!
Penny is a medium sized girl, and was a slow developer that finally matured at three years of age. We would like to see a bit more bone and a better topline on her, so when she had her first litter in early 2014, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have been able to use Teddy – a boy that had all those and many more fabulous qualities – as a sire for the litter. She was a very good mother to her puppies, and still gets on fabulously well with the two pups we kept.
Penny is very much a daddy’s girl, and likes to vie for Andrew’s attention with her daughter Lucy. She graciously lets Lucy get some pats when she has had enough herself!!
This photo taken at a show in Newcastle when Penny was almost two years old
These next two photos taken in Nov 2014, when Penny was three and a half. First photo is of her favourite activity, and the next one is of her having a rest after deciding that she had “killed” enough sticks and that it was okay now to give my arm a break from throwing them.
